School
Keen Teens! 12-14 years old
At high school there are many expectations placed on young people both in terms of their work performance and their perceived social interactions. Your child is now expected to operate in a new environment with a new group of peers and school staff. Try to remember what it was like for you.
These expectations change between friends, families and teachers. Be supportive as they learn to balance their own and others expectations and work to the best of their ability. Assist them to develop time management strategies and to establish good habits which will benefit them throughout their high school years.
