Kidsafe Hunter is a regional office of Kidsafe NSW, providing services to the Hunter and Central Coast region. Kidsafe Hunter has strong working relationships with community welfare, health, education and emergency services and supported by Kidsafe NSW, the organisation aims to:

• Engage with local families to provide child injury prevention workshops and information packs
• Collaborate with support agencies and front line workers to develop relevant community awareness programs
• Participate in community events and regional campaigns to promote child injury prevention.

Kidsafe Hunter believes that building and sustaining an active conversation involving families and the broader community will assist in reducing the incidence of unintentional injury and death to children. Kidsafe Hunter is committed to making the Hunter and Central Coast Regions ‘Kidsafe!”

Kidsafe NSW is participating in the Lake Macquarie City Council Safety Expo called ‘You’re Kidding Me’. It is  a free community event aimed at expecting & new families.

• From: 10am-2.00pm

What’s on: Kidsafe will have a range of information on child safety in and around the home. There will also be a driveway safety exhibit and free car child restraint fitting.
