Kidsafe NSW promotes child injury prevention and education in an effort to preserve and protect the lives of our children.

The Team

Kidsafe NSW - NSW Office (located at Westmead)
Christine Erskine - Executive Officer Christine Erskine—Executive Officer. Christine has qualifications in adult and community education. Prior to taking up her position in January 2008, she managed a range of programs across NSW aimed at providing education and training opportunities to a diverse range of clients including isolated parents, youth at risk, vocational childcare and office administration students. She has been involved in public health advocacy and community health campaigns.

Vicki Milne—Road Safety Officer. With qualifications in education, Vicki has worked for many years in the public sector across a range of portfolios including administration, management and public education. Vicki’s main area of focus is providing information to parents and carers on correct choice and usage of child restraints in vehicles. 
Lori Hawkins - Admin Lori Hawkins—Administration Assistant. Lori joined the team at Kidsafe NSW in September 2008. Lori has experience in a range of administration roles and completed her Certificate IV in Business Administration in 2011.
VIP Vicky Paranomos—Volunteer. Vicky has been a volunteer at Kidsafe NSW for over 10 years and is a valuable asset particularly when assisting with the annual Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo and mail outs. 
Kidsafe NSW Playground Advisory Unit Team
The Playground Advisory Unit at Kidsafe NSW offers a range of services including inspections, workshops, playground design advice, plans review or construction and maintenance advice.
Kate Fraser - Program Manager PAU Kate Fraser—Program Manager. Kate is an occupational therapist as well as a landscape designer and horticulturist. Kate is committed to providing straight forward, practical advice regarding the design and quality of children’s play environments. Kate’s favourite topic is risk and challenge for children of all ages. She believes that all children need to be given opportunities to build life skills in order to grow up to be happy, healthy adults.
Angela Marton - Project Officer Angela Marton—Project Officer. Angela is an early childhood educator. She has a keen interest in providing children with opportunities to explore environments whilst developing the ability to make sound judgements. Prior to joining Kidsafe NSW, Angela was involved in quality assurance related to early childhood services. Angela is committed to the provision of children learning the benefits of risk taking in an appropriate manner to encourage their learning and development.  
Bev Boland - Project Officer Beverley Boland—Project Officer. Bev is a landscape architect with a commitment to best practice recreation provisions for all children throughout the community.  Bev’s expertise is local government park and playground planning and management. She advises on the development of well designed, safe, yet challenging and appealing play provisions to assist children’s development within a range of environments. 
Kay Lockhart - Project Officer Kay Lockhart—Project Officer. Kay’s primary focus is in play, risk benefit play and natural elements in playspaces. Kay has developed a particular interest in labyrinths and the value of the inclusion of a labyrinth in a playspace. Kay has an early childhood background having worked in and managed long day care and OOSH services. Kay is committed to the education, safety and wellbeing of children.
