Trampolines
I can do this! - 5-8 years old
The trampoline is an all time favourite outdoor backyard activity. Children from the age of six have gained the physical development for large trampolines that measure more than 50cm from the ground level. It is recommended that children beneath the age of six years are also encouraged to jump and the use of mini trampolines is an excellent way to provide this experience. Children benefit greatly from the use of trampolines as they gain muscle strength, improved bone density, balance, coordination and a sense of body in space.
Ensure that you use a trampoline that meets Australian Standards and position it on a soft surface away from other structures.
