Recall- Kmart—Girls' Licenced Nighties

Product Safety Australia have recalled Kmart—Girls' Licenced Nighties due to the nighties not conforming to the mandatory standard for children's nightwear burning behaviour requirements.

The defects are that the garment does not comply with the mandatory standard for children's nightwear and limited daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003, as amended by the regulation.

The hazard is that testing has shown that the garments fail to meet the mandatory standard for children's nightwear burning behaviour requirements.

The nighties were sold nationally at Kmart stores from the 14th August 2015 - 7th October 2015 and include the following styles:

  • Barbie Fairy Princess Nightie-style number 121202

  • Hello Kitty Poker Dot Nightie- style number 121209

  • Hello Kitty Dreamer Nightie- Style number 121203

  • Monster High Ghouls Nightie – Style number 121208

Consumers should cease using these products immediately and return the product to any Kmart store for a full refund.
