Recall- Online Dealz—Frank Masons Portable Cot

Product Safety Australia have recalled the Online Dealz—Frank Masons Portable Cot as it does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2195: 1999 ‘Folding Cots —Safety requirements’.

The Frank Masons Portable Cot was sold nationally via the Online Dealz website.

The identifying features of the portable cot are Frank Masons Portable Cot PL5007 in pink/red or blue Ref: 2012203PL5007.

The defect is that the cot does not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2195: 1999 ‘Folding Cots —Safety requirements’.

The hazard is that the portable cot failed to comply with the various design, safety and performance and marking requirements of the mandatory standard. The product poses numerous risks, including an entrapment hazard, to infants using this product.

Consumers should stop using the portable cot immediately. Please contact Online Dealz to arrange to return the cot to our warehouse for immediate disposal, in exchange for a full refund and reimbursement of the cost of returning the portable cot to our warehouse.
