Recall- Country Road—Country Road Infant Pom Pom sock

Product Safety Australia have recalled the Country RoadóCountry Road Infant Pom Pom sock due to a potential choking hazard.

The Country Road—Country Road Infant Pom Pom sock was sold at Country Road Stores in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

The product description is an infant sock that features two white pom poms sewn on to each sock in Light Grey in sizes: 0-6 m, 6-12m, 1-2yrs, 2-3yrs.

The defect is that there is risk that on some of the socks, the stitching that secures the pom poms may be insufficient. One or both pom poms could become detached.

The hazard is that if any of the pom poms become detached, they could pose a choking hazard to infants if placed in the mouth.

Consumers should return their pom pom socks to a Country Road store or contact Country Road Customer Service () for a full refund on the purchase price.
