Product Safety Australia have recalled Gingerlilly children's sleepwear pyjama sets in various styles due to the fire label not complying with the mandatory standard.

The Gingerlilly — children's sleepwear pyjama sets in various styles were sold nationally from the 21 March 2016 - 4 October 2016 at Boutique children's wear stores and gift stores and Trade Secret.

The defect is that the text colour on the fire label is red not black, so the label is not compliant with the mandatory standard for children’s nightwear and limited daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003.

The hazard is if the label does not contain the correct information or is not legible, carers may not be aware of the fire danger.

Consumers should cease using the product and return the garment to the place of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price.
