Recalls- Mesco Pty Ltd — Inflatable Frog and RPCPromo Pty Ltd — Inflatable Frog

Product Safety Australia have recalled two brands of inflatable frogs due to the items not complying with the mandatory standard Consumer Protection Notice No.14 of 2003 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for children up to and including 36 months of age.

The Mesco Pty Ltd — Inflatable Frog was sold nationally from 1 July 2016 - 29 September 2016 by Wax Hands Australia- Jed Group of Companies at agricultural shows.

The RPCPromo Pty Ltd — Inflatable Frog was sold nationally from the 2 September 2016 - 10 September 2016 by RPCPromo at agricultural shows.

The defect for both products is that the inflation plug can be removed from the frog and is a choking hazard. Product does not comply with mandatory standard Consumer Protection Notice No.14 of 2003 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for children up to and including 36 months of age.

The hazard is that the inflation plug could be removed by a child and could be a choking hazard.

Consumers who purchased either of the inflatable frogs should prevent young children from playing with the frog. The frog may be disposed of in the household rubbish or returned to a supplier for a refund or replacement product. Contact Mesco Pty Ltd on 1800 688 850.
