Smart Scooter Royal self balancing scooter charger

 

What are the defects?

The battery chargers supplied with the scooters are not approved for use in Australia and may not comply with the Australian safety standards.

What are the hazards?

Overheating and risk of fire or electric shock.

What should consumers do?

Consumer should stop using the charger immediately, switch off the power at the socket outlet and unplug it.

Smart Scooter ANZ Pty Ltd will be supplying replacement chargers to all the affected customers, along with instructions on how to dispose of your unapproved charger.
