Getting Around
I can do this! - 5-8 years old
It is generally recommended that children do at least one hour of physical activity everyday, in fact the more the better! Being active can prevent injuries and illnesses and promotes general well being.
Physical activity can be accumulated throughout the day, in many different and fun activities - walking, biking, playing with friends, participating in sport, and splashing around at beaches, creeks and pools.
By being an active parent, you will role model positive attitudes and behaviours towards getting out and about and being physically active.
