Trampolines
School Rules! - 9-11 years old
The trampoline is an all time favourite outdoor backyard activity. At this stage children often seek increased challenge and fun by performing ‘tricks’. It is recommended that if your child is showing interest in performing tricks on the trampoline enroll them in gymnastics classes to learn correct methods under professional supervision.
Children benefit greatly from the use of trampolines as they gain muscle strength, core stability, improved bone density, balance, coordination and a sense of their moving body in space.
Ensure that you use Australian Standards compliant trampolines and position them on a soft surface away from other structures.
