Workshops

Playground Safety and Inspection workshops conducted by the Playground Advisory Unit provides an introduction to the inspection and maintenance of playgrounds and promotes an understanding of the current Australian Playground Safety Standards.

Workshops can be tailored to your organisation’s needs.

Inspection Services

Review of Plans – Desk top review of design prior to installation will provide organisations with a written report identifying any  non-compliances to the playground related Australian standard and provides practical design solutions.

Comprehensive Post Installation Inspection – includes an inspection to determine if the installation ( or relocation) is in line with the Australian standards relating to playgrounds. A report is provided identifying any hazards, a risk rating and recommendations for rectification.

Comprehensive Playground Inspection (Annual) - includes an inspection to determine compliance with the Australian standards relating to playgrounds. A report is provided identifying any hazards, a risk rating and recommendations for rectification.

Surface impact testing - Testing of playground surfacing is conducted for unitary playground surfacing to confirm that the installation meets the critical fall height required for the equipment utilised in this space and in compliance with AS 4422.
